Some Consumers Prefer Unscented Candles
In the past few decades there has been a tremendous increase in
the use of fragrances and fragranced products. The average person
uses a dozen or more scented products in a day and is exposed to
hundreds. There are increased complaints of fragrances causing or
triggering health problems. Some people experience health reactions
to both essential oils and synthetics.
In the US there has been an increase in consumption of fine foods
and wines. Gourmets and fine chefs would never recommend scented
candles with their foods or wines. It also seems that because of
consumers' increasing exposure to so many different synthetic scents,
the number of consumers who like the warmth of a candle flame but
not the smell will only increase.
Unscented candles are our answer!
Jars™, Tapers, unscented
votives, and tea
lights are very popular with yoga centers, massage therapists
and meditation centers.
Inch-for-inch or ounce-for-ounce, our 2 oz. unscented
votive candles burn 1 hour longer than other vegetable (soy,
rice, cotton seed, coconut, bayberry, carnauba) and paraffin or
beeswax candle. The same is true of waxes poured into a container.
